Lamentablemente no he leído mucho del material que está nominado este año... con algo de suerte podré rectificar un poco la situación.

Me llama la atención la ausencia de algunos de los ganadores del año pasado, como Ed Brubaker o J.H. Williams III y la consistencia de gente como Todd Klein, Chris Ware, Darwyn Cooke (aunque su última Novela Gráfica no esté nominada como tal), Karl Kerschl, Dan Clowes o Dave Stewart.

Los nombres que irrumpen con mucha fuerza son el de Scott Snyder, que pasó de ser un desconocido a estar nominado por mejor serie nueva (American Vampire) o el equipo artístico de Joe Hill y el chileno Gabriel Rodríguez, que está nominado en todas las categorías posibles. Un gran año para ambos, cuyo trabajo, la serie Locke & Key que publica IDW, está próxima a ser adaptada a la Televisión a través de la cadena Fox.
